Layla King is a free spirit. Her lifestyle and attitude are just as colorful as the tips of her spiked hair and vast collection of Doc Martens.
She’s only ever relied on and trusted one person, her best friend Amy. That is until she meets Riven. He’s a guy that if she’s not careful will break down
her walls and see the real person she’s hiding inside. When things get too heavy for Layla to handle she kicks Riven to the curb.

Riven is a happy go lucky goofball, he tries to take very little in life seriously. Layla is everything he’s ever wanted in a girl, sexy, beautiful,

Beep, beep, beep, beep. The shrill sound of my annoying alarm clock is obnoxiously telling me to get my ass out of bed. It’s a work day, but I find myself
wanting to throw the blankets over my head and go back to sleep. My freaking head is throbbing, and my ears are ringing. My mouth is so dry. If I didn’t
know any better, I’d swear I ate a whole bag of cotton balls. Uck!

“You gonna shut that damn thing off?” Riven grumbles behind me.
“No, I like the way it sings me awake just like the damned blue birds do for Sleeping Beauty,” I growl back, swinging my legs over the side of the bed and
smacking the buzzer to shut the stinking thing up.

{Author Bio}
Hi, I'm Jemma Bell. I write sizzling hot and hilariously funny romantic comedy.
Let me give you a little peek inside my head so you understand what I write and why I write it that way. Ok? Ok.
I'm a rookie author with currently only one title under my belt (soon to be two). I do have more books planned out after the release of Moxie Girl, but I
tend to write slower than the average bear b/c I have 3 young children and they keep me extremely busy.

I write alternating POV's for my main characters b/c I like everyone to know how my characters are feeling and what they are thinking. I'm also a lover of
HEA. There's too much bad stuff in the world and I read books to escape. I want a happy place to escape to. I'm not saying I don't like dark stories or
read about questionable topics, I just don't write about them.

When I set out on this path of writing, I wanted to be different and bring something fresh to the romance genre. I think I succeeded, although the type of
book I write might not be everyone's cup of coffee. That's quite alright, different strokes for different folks and all that.

I'm a sucker for strong females and want to write about characters my daughters would be proud of. So when you pick up a Jemma Bell book be prepared for
hot sex, sigh-worthy romance, laugh out loud moments and a Happily Ever After.

I'm not MC (but, I love them), I'm not Dark (but, I read them), I'm not all that angsty (well, maybe just a bit) I happen to be light and fluffy, but, I'm
not G rated by any stretch of the imagination, so my books are not safe for under 18.
