    Just One Song Synopsis

Two years ago, Mia had everything she thought she wanted. She loved her job, and her best friend Nicole was finally recovering from losing her family in a car accident. When they met rock star Zack Walters and given backstage pages for his concert in their hometown of Minneapolis, Mia had no idea she would get involved with the band’s drummer, Chase Harper. It was simple, fun, and exactly what Mia liked best – no strings attached.

Then Chase decided to change the rules and Mia did what she’s always done best: she ran.

Now she’s on her way to Los Angeles to help Nicole get ready for her wedding to Zack. The one thing she’s not looking forward to is seeing Chase again. With his sculpted muscles, strong hands and dark gray eyes that seem to know everything she’s thinking – Chase has the ability to make her forget. He also has the power to make her feel, something Mia refuses to let happen.

When everything around Mia’s life begins to crumble, and she keeps all of her secrets tucked close and hidden away, Chase is the one who steps in to help.

Because he has decided that he isn’t letting her go again. Not until she finally admits she’s his.

    Just One Week Excerpt

    Chase’s POV

I smile into her neck when I feel her pulse quicken a little bit.

“Chase?” Her quiet voice sounds a little bit dry and really tired.

I slowly flick my tongue out and lick her neck and trail soft kisses down to her collarbone. My hand on her hip squeezes slightly, pulling her back into me so she can feel how much I want her.

Damn it, I just want her. All of her.

“What is it, babe?” I whisper into her throat when I realize she’s smiling a little bit and not moving away from me at all. In fact, I think she may have just relaxed into me a little bit more. “What do you need?”

I pull away from her slightly so I can look into her sleepy blue eyes. Her hair is a little messed up and her eyes are barely open, but I can still see that she wants me. Please, I plead with my eyes, don’t tell me you need a glass of water. Don’t tell me you want me to get the hell out of here.

But she doesn’t say any of those things. She just smiles and quietly, so quietly I almost ask her to repeat herself she simply says, “You.”

It’s all I need to hear. If she wants me, I’ll give her all of me. Every last piece of my body, my heart, and my soul. Anything she wants of mine is hers, I just don’t want her to fucking stomp all over it and give back pieces of me, leftover and broken, when she’s through with me.

With a devilish grin, I adjust her so she’s lying below me. “I’m all yours, babe.”

Let Love In Let Love Stay Book Spotlight Synopsis

Let Love In: What would happen if you lost everything? If the people who were supposed to love you unconditionally were no longer there for you, how would your world change? That’s exactly what happened to Madeleine Becker when her parents died when she was ten years old. Ripped from her home and everything that she has ever loved, she is forced to start all over again. The only way for her to move on is to build walls around her heart and keep everyone at a safe distance. Her logic: she can't get hurt if she doesn't fall in love. That theory is blown to pieces when she meets Reid Connely during her freshman year at college. He is gorgeous and darkly mysterious. He understands Maddy's pain all too well, but sharing his pain would mean breaking down the walls he put up around his own heart. Conflicted between loving Maddy and hiding his dark past, Reid starts to reevaluate his world. Maddy's inner strength, snarky personality and breath taking beauty help Reid to make peace with his past. Together they find out what happens when they let love in.

Let Love Stay: If you’re lucky, you’ll fall in love – truly, madly and deeply in love. But what happens when that honest and pure love isn’t enough to erase your fears? What happens when your past rears its ugly head and threatens your future? Maddy and Reid had that kind of love – the all-encompassing, Earth shattering, once in a lifetime kind of love. Then life happened. Old wounds that were thought to be long healed and scabbed over are ripped opened and they are forced to face the possibility that, maybe, they are not strong enough to fight their demons and embrace the light. Together, they found out what love is, but now they will each need to heal on their own before they can ever be together again. They must face their fears and beat down their pasts in order to find their way through this crazy uphill battle called love. They’ve let love in, but now, they need to find out how to Let Love Stay.

I had received this book as a gift for an honest review. Melissa Collins did an excellent job with this book and I so look forward to book two. 5 stars doesn't even touch how I feel about this book! SPOILERS!! Maddy very young loses her parents. Moves with an Aunt she never met until the loss of her parents. She meets Melanie and they become the best of friends more like sisters. Off to college and they have two roommates Cammie and Lia who they became really close with. With Cammie dating Jack, Maddy met Reid. Well Jack,Reid and Logan are roommates and with a college party the beginning of this fairy tale begins. With Maddy and Reid both having trust issues due to their past things are really interesting when they get together and they start to trust and break down the walls that both have built up from their past. Reid is every women's dream I believe. You can't help but love how Reid shows Maddy that the past is the past and that he is really and truly in love with her. As their romance progress like all relationships there are bumps in the road. Well they go off to Montauk Point NY. Reid didn't know why he was taking her there but he did. This part of the story along with other parts made me cry and hit close to home. I went to Montauk Point back in the early 90's and met my daughter's grandfather. About 6 months later or so he passed away. I went back down there and boy this book hits part of my life. Melissa this is a great love story. I felt the pain and happines Maddy and Reid had been through as well as the other characters. There was a couple times I wish I could go through the book and pop Reid and a couple others that is how connected I felt to them. THIS IS THE BEST CLIFFHANGER SINCE WHO SHOT JR!! I hate that it ended the way it did cause I really really want to read more about Reid and Maddy. Well I guess I have to wait until book two just like I had to wait the summer to find out WHO SHOT JR!! WELL DONE 10 stars..............I know book 2 will be just as good...

I so love Maddy and Reid. I so would love to have Reid as a boyfriend. With Let Love Stay being the 2nd book in the series it was my favorite so far. I love how Melissa picked up right where Let Love In stopped. Through the "TIME APART" of Maddy and Reid to the end of the book I have to say it was a wonderful love story. I love how Reid listened to Maddy and went and saw his mother when he found out she didn't have long to live. He went to make peace with her. Love how Reid stood up to his father when he saw him after his mom's funeral.

I love the friendship Maddy and Melanie have how they are both their for each other. To have a friendship like that have is very important. Mel didn't turn her back on Maddy when she found out she was pregnant nor did Mel's mother.

This book has made me laugh and has made me cry. I do have to say this is my favorite love story. I so can not wait for the next book Let Love Heal to see what Melissa has in store for Maddy,Reid and Melanie.

Meet the Author Melissa Collins 2 I’ve always been an avid reader. Majoring in English Literature was a no brainer. Becoming a teacher and instilling my love for reading into my students was also a no brainer. I’ve spent the last ten years teaching and I’ve loved (mostly) every minute of it. When I was home on maternity leave for my third son, I discovered a new genre that sparked my creativity. My passion for writing sprang from my love of reading and once I knew I had a story to tell, I couldn’t wait to get it out there. I only hope that my readers enjoy reading my story as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Her first love is writing and hopes to make it her full-time career. She first began her career as a writer with children's books and has since transitioned into writing young adult and adult romance.

This is the first book in the Happy Valley Glen Series. Geared toward Ages 3-8.

I had to get this book the cover was cute and what I read what it was about was great. When the Raccoon Family moved in Rabbit saw them and thought they were trouble. Well things happen and Rabbit was quick to blame. Only to find out HE WAS WRONG. This is a really great children's story to teach how not to judge people by their looks or color. Love the book's lesson that I want to purchase a few hard copies for the holidays. This book is geared toward ages 3-8 but I feel it is for any age.

    DEADLY SECRETS by Angee Taylor

Deadly Secrets (The Secrets Saga #2) by AngeeTaylor
Deadly Secrets by Angee Taylor blog tour

The wedding was supposed to stop the endless stream of death threats. It seems someone didn’t get the message. As the family struggles to find the person or persons sending the threats, they face problem after problem. Rose is developing new powers so fast she's having a difficult time keeping up with them. New family members have been discovered that were erased from the family history. There is even possibly a betrayal from within their own family. Whom can Rose and Caleb trust? Who is out to kill them? Will they figure it out in time to save themselves and their family? Or will they discover the truth too late to save everyone they love?

I crouched there looking down, sliding my tongue over my unsheathed fangs, which pricked it, and allowing the precious blood to seep into my mouth. Tasting the sweet taste of the iron rich liquid, my thirst spiked. The raw desire of hunger ate at me, like a wild animal chewing on a bone. This wasn’t about hunger though, it was anger, and it was about protecting my family. Hearing Caleb and the others beating at the door, knowing I only had minutes before someone got the doors open. Looking deep in myself, breathing deeply I released the leash I kept on my powers. I felt them slam into me, for once the feel of thousands of bolts of lightening hitting me made me feel powerful, it wasn’t painful this time.
I stood still watching my sister-in-law. I had no idea what she was up to. I’d heard she had a protective streak and was very lethal when she wanted to be. Even though I couldn’t see this slip of a woman being lethal, I’d wait and see. I was caught off guard by what I saw with my own eyes. The books went to flying off the shelves all around my library. Furniture began floating. The fireplace was erupting with flames all the while my little sister-in-law was still crouched looking down at the floor. Books that were flying off the shelves finally took on an ordered chaos as they were circling around and over me. Trying to get out of the room, I found I was fixed in place. The fireplace calmed down, the furniture sat back on the floor. I was still fixed in place unable to move and books still circled around and over me. Looking at Rose she was still crouched, never looking up. When she did what I saw startled me. Standing slowly, she walked to me. Caleb was beating on the metal door that stood between him and his wife. As she approached me I guess the fear in my eyes made Rose smile. “You see now I’m no child for you to mess with. You ever kidnap me again, it won’t matter who you’re related to. I’ll kill you and won’t tell them you’re a good guy.” “Why are your eye’s…That’s not normal.” My voice quivered with the fear, no terror I felt. “It doesn’t matter. All that does matter is you realize that those people behind that door are mine. I love each and every one of them. If you do anything to harm them, I won’t show you mercy. Vampire or not I can kill you. You may have gotten the drop on me once and drugged me. That was the only time it will ever happen. You better be truthful in all dealing with us or you will see what all isn’t normal about me.” Waving her hand, the entire room returned to perfection. I shook my head half in shock but completely terrified of her.
Rose looked down, blinking a few times. When she looked at me again all traces of the person she had been seconds earlier was gone. “Open that door for me, if you don’t mind.” Rose all but ordered it. “Sure thing Rose.” I did so as fast as I could. I didn’t want to be in a room with her alone any longer than I had to. As the door opened, her family rushed out all speaking at once. “What happened? What was all that noise? Is everything okay?” Smiling at her beloved family then turning to look at me before she spoke, “Everything is just fine. Isn’t it Collin?” “It’s great.” I gave my best smile, even though I was scared at the moment. Caleb looked around the room, looking for some indication at what had happened. He found none. “Rose let’s go to bed.” “I’m past ready. I hope the bed is a soft one, after being on that hard silver table for a few days.” Rose said as she walked down the hall towards the bedrooms. As she walked through the door it closed behind her. I sat on the floor. It had been all the years of training to look tough that had kept me from doing just this earlier. I would not show fear.

Jenny has always wanted a fairytale life: the perfect house, her own Prince Charming and the wedding to go with it.

After a five year engagement Jenny and her fiancé Rich are counting down to the "Big Day"...

And lets not forget one hell of a Hen Party For Jenny her life as the perfect wife is all she has ever wanted but secrets are never far away...

Will Jenny make it to her own fairytale wedding...

All will be revealed in "Veiled"
    EXCERPT from Veiled

I made a speech prior to booking the wedding date that there would be no sex the week be-fore we got married. I wanted our wedding night to be special. Now, I think I will be strug-gling with this decision. I plan to make sure I get plenty before our wedding weeks begins. I am wearing Rich's favorite little black halter dress that barely covers my bum and shows just enough of my cheeks to drive him wild. He loves it. I have been a little bit naughty. Okay, very naughty. I am not wearing underwear and have added my black stilettos. Perfect. My hair is down, exactly the way he likes it, and no makeup. This is how my baby likes to see me.
"Honey, I'm home," Rich yells as he comes through the door, looking all hot and sweaty from his run. He always goes for a three to five mile run after work. He is a fitness freak some-times, so I would love for him to take a day off from running once in a while.
"Hi," I say leaning against the doorway in a suggestive manner, my arm above my head in the full-on come and get me pose. "Oh. Wow, are you trying to kill me, Jen?" He winks. "Never." I giggle, hoping I am killing him. I plan to make that man work his ass off after dinner. "Quick shower and I am all yours, baby girl," he says, placing a little peck on my lips before smacking my bum and running up the stairs. Rich began calling me baby girl the second time we saw each other. I can't help but blush when he says it, even after all this time together. I sit myself on a bar stool in the kitchen and wait for him. He is only gone for five minutes be-cause he takes quick showers when I am not with him. If I didn't have a nice meal planned, I would join him. I might take him for another one later. "I am back, baby girl," Rich announces as he walks into the kitchen wearing only black trousers. His bare chest on full display and his perfect back sparkling from the water that is left on him. His hair is also wet. He looks so fuckable. Food first. We need to eat first I try to convince myself.

What made her decide to be an erotica author?

How else was she going to parlay her two favorite past times into a career?

Emma is single and loving it. Like her first character, Alysin, Sin for short, she doesn't believe in settling or in settling down. She loves to indulge in her passions whenever the mood strikes and enjoys keeping all of life's cliche moments spicy.

Known for her sense of humor, Emma surrounds herself with friends whose antics often become the source of book fodder. Her ideal situation would be to explore the Caribbean while writing. She pursues that dream daily.

Emma Nichols Interview for The Sinful Series

What sparked your interest in becoming a romance writer?

I often joke that I became a writer of romance and erotica because it was the best way for me to parlay my passions into a career.

What was the first romance novel you read that made an impression on you?

When I was really young, I read The Thornbirds. It was the naughtiest book I could imagine. I remember thinking that I needed to be able to write like that. So, that’s what I try to do.

Tell us 5 surprising things about yourself.

    1. I have a tattoo.

    2. I want more…small, sexy, meaningful.

    3. My palate has really become more sophisticated…as evidenced by my love of sushi and asparagus…sometimes even together.

    4. I think cruising is the only way to travel.

    5. For someone so intrigued by sex, I didn’t lose my virginity for a really long time.

    What is your writing environment.

,p>I write wherever I am comfortable at the moment. It could be in the living room, lying on the bed, on the garage couch, or even the floor. I abhor writing at desks. It feels too much like work and I just want to have fun with it.

    One of your favorite quotes.

By Mae West: You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.

Do you have a website recommendation for other writers?

Great ideas. I’m working to implement them…especially marketing.

Who is your perfect hero? And why?

I think the perfect hero is perfectly imperfect. I think he has flaws, but that when he finds love, they make him more real, less god-like. He doesn’t have to have this model-esque body. He says the right things, even if he doesn’t say them smoothly. My favorite heroes are the reformed players, the ones who have been around and finally found everything they never knew they always wanted with the unlikeliest of women.

Which authors have caught your interest lately? Why?

Hmmm. In the author groups, I’m finding ones that I try to emulate, that I admire for their skill and their abilities. JB McGee has a new book coming out,,,Skipping Stones. I’ve been able to beta that a bit. And Brandy Dorsch is an aspiring writer who has an interesting looking paranormal romance coming out soon.

What type of book have you always wanted to write?

It has taken me forever, but Sin at Sea is the kind of book I always wanted to be brave enough to write. There is something so liberating about not worrying over pushing the envelope. At the same time, I think while writing something very erotic, I kept it classy. That’s important. Even my smut has a story.

Who are your dream dinner party guests?

If I could have anyone come to my parties…Channing Tatum…oh hell, the entire cast of Magic Mike. Ummm…I don’t really think I’d need to invite anyone else…at all. We’ll keep it nice and intimate.

What’s the last movie you watched and loved?

Loved? Wow. It has been a while since I loved a movie. Dating means I watch movies that the guy loves…like action, horror, and thrillers. Me, I prefer movies with meaning, movies that speak to me…like Under the Tuscan Sun or Love Actually.

Most _____________ in high school. (popular, nerdy, sporty…) Why?

It’s funny. I thought I was nerdy. I thought I was shy. And then I go to a reunion and discover that everyone else thought I was popular. I just did my own thing, whatever made me happy. Still do. It’s the best way to live.

Top three things on your bucket list.

    1. Take a Mediterranean cruise.

    2. Explore Greece

    3. Take a hot air balloon ride. That one might be challenging since I also have a fear of heights. Still…

How did you get the idea for this particular novel?

My goal was to write this great beach read. It kind of forced me to go through with it, get it published for summer. I took everything that I loved about summer…the water, the beaches, the travel, vacations, hot guys, and sexy times. There are a lot of my own personal experiences in it.

What is your favorite scene in your new release?

I love where they meet, how they meet, their interaction. Yes, Alysin and Mr. Bedroom Eyes have chemistry from the start.

If you could be one of your characters - Who would you be? And why?

I would love to be Alysin, so supremely confident, so independent. She speaks her mind. She’s very worldly. She’s tough.

    Flirting Questions

Which actor or book character do you have a crush on?

Whew…I can only pick one? The Rock, Dwayne Johnson.

What’s your favorite body part of the opposite sex?

The chest. I like a nice chest to rest my head on.

    What does love feel like?

Scariest most incredible feeling ever. Love is being naked and vulnerable all the time.

    When was your last kiss?

I get kissed pretty much daily. The last one that really affected me that would be harder to pin down.

    What’s an absolute no-no in a relationship?

    Cheating. That’s a deal breaker.

What’s your idea of a perfect date?

I love new twists on old clichĂ© moments. I love candlelight dinners. I love picnics. Put the two together…bliss.

If you could take a romantic trip, where would it be?

    Someplace warm and sandy.

    Templand Blurb:

The heroine, Melanie Evers, is a plucky young working-class woman from Akron, Ohio struggling to support herself in Chicago in the post-9-11 economy. TEMPLAND follows Melanie's journey through the temporary employment world from a college student on "just a summer job" to a 28-year-old woman with a lot of intelligence (and a heap of student loan debt to match) through multiple layoffs and a series of ever-more-wacky temp assignments, as she struggles not only to survive, but also to find romance and always remain true to the honest, working-class values instilled in her by her beloved grandfather.

In her long, solitary journey through Templand, Melanie encounters adventure and romance on her search for that always-elusive Permanent Job---which she finally gets, along with her man. TEMPLAND is a highly entertaining, wickedly funny social satire, contemporary romance, and mystery novel all rolled into one.
