Lust…

My darkness was born in it.

Her secret was created by it.

My job was immersed in it.

It would either ruin us or save us.

My name is Caden Morgan, and I am a sex surrogate.

After years of seclusion and fear-induced abstinence, Ivy Jaymes came to me to fix her. Her love of erotic books brought her out of hiding and into my office. I had done this sort of thing hundreds of times… but she was different.

Ivy’s secrets threatened my own.

Her darkness paralleled mine.

And my obsession for her was sure to break me.

Could we heal each other with love?

Or would we end up decimating one another with Lust?

Leddy Harper had to use her imagination often as a child. She grew up the only girl in a house full of boys. At the age of fourteen, she decided to use that imagination and wrote her first book, and never stopped. She often calls writing her therapy, using it as a way to deal with issues through the eyes of her characters.  She is now a mother of three girls, leaving her husband as the only man in a house full of females. The decision to publish her first book was made as a way of showing her children to go after whatever it is they want to. Love what you do and do it well. And to teach them what it means to overcome their fears.

~~~BLOG TOUR~~~ LOVE SURFACED by Michelle Lynn
The equations are
simple.
Piper Ashby + Brad
Ashby = Twin Siblings
Brad Ashby +
Tanner McCain = Best Friends
Piper Ashby +
Tanner McCain = Off limits
Tanner and I
abided by the rules. We stayed on our designated sides of the relationship
circle.
Ignoring swarming
butterflies.
Brushing off
skipped heartbeats.
Settling on
lingering stares.
Here’s the secret … a hand extended over that
invisible line once, exponentially changing the equation. I was convinced we
could make our relationship work until Tanner broke the trust he embedded in me
from the age of seven.
One deceit of mega proportions and the relationship we
built for that short month vanished. I swore never to speak to him again and
it’s worked. Until now—two years later, when my brother’s wedding places me face-to-face
with the best man—Tanner McCain.
Leaving one equation to be solved. Can love surface
twice?
Soon, I’m unable to focus, and I
have no choice but to take a break to recoup some energy. Gripping the side of
the pool, I toss my goggles on the cement and lay my head on top of my hands,
leaning over the edge of the pool. Mentally tormenting myself on my recent
obsession with Tanner McCain, I’m surprised when the echo of someone else in
the pool alerts me.
There goes my therapy for today, I think to myself.
I hastily grab my goggles and rest
them on my head. My eyes glance up to see if the person is one of my teammates,
but what I find halts my breathing. Tanner snakes into the water, gracefully
picking up each plastic rope and ducking underneath, until he reaches the lane
right next to me. I gulp down the last of my saliva when he casually swings
back and forth on the lane separator closest to me.
He’s breathtaking with his goggles
resting on the top of his head and his strong biceps holding his body up in the
water. “I thought I’d find you here.” His classic smirk from last night is back
in place.
“You did?” Immediately, I hate my
timid and unsure voice. Even worse, the hopefulness it’s laced with.
“Want to race? Loser chooses Truth
or Dare?” He doesn’t make eye contact with me. Rather, he peers across the
empty pool.
“So I can lose?”
Every swimmer from here to
California beats themselves up on their workouts, imagining their fingertips on
that tile wall before Tanner’s.
He chuckles. “You know I only use
half of my energy when I go against you.”
I cup my hand and drag it across
the pool, splashing his face. He shakes his head, water droplets spraying off
his divine features.
“Jackass,” I say, my back against
the tile wall. I purposely don’t allow my body to win the fight to break the
distance between us.
“I’m kidding. Come on.” His head
nods toward the other end of the pool. “One lap.”
Then, out of nowhere, a confident
creature rises within me. I want to pick his brain and dig through the layers
to discover exactly why he sought me out in this pool so early in the morning
and why his hands roamed places on my body they never ventured before last
night. Most of all, I want to know how he left me without even a good-bye.
“What do I get if I win?” I raise
my eyebrows at him a few times for competition.
BOOK SYNOPSIS
FIFTY SHADES OF JUNGLE FEVER
Keisha Beale, a street-wise Chicago south-sider two years out of DePaul University, is a quarter million
dollars in start-up capital away from realizing her dream of owning a recording studio/record store. She
takes the place of her more business-savvy partner in a meeting with Tristan White himself, the venture
capitalist they've targeted to fund their business.
A bi-racial--African American and Brazilian--woman with a troubled past, Keisha has been so focused on
her business pursuits that her love life has been non-existent. Tristan White is the devastatingly
handsome, 32-year old CEO of White Enterprises, the firm he built using only the inheritance his mother
left him to prove to his father he had the mettle to do it alone. He comes from a long line of wealth, and
lives the life of a "one-percenter" on Chicago's Gold Coast.
Tristan is accustomed to controlling every aspect of his life given his birth into a world of white
privilege.
50 Shades to the 2nd Power...
When Keisha and Tristan's worlds collide, sparks fly, and a fever is ignited in them both that they have
never experienced before. It turns out they each have secrets, but together, in the unorthodox
arrangement Tristan proposes, they discover passions they never knew they had.
... Meets Keisha From The Block!
The Ghetto Girl title is, in all truthfulness, a misnomer. Keisha Beale is a highly-educated young woman
who just happens to have been born on the other side of the socio-economic tracks. She embraces all of
who she is, and navigates almost effortlessly in both worlds.
Erotic, amusing, and in places hilarious, the Ghetto Girl Romance Quadrilogy is a parody with a new take
on a Fifty Shades type story that will take you even further into the BDSM world, and promises to make
the vanilla original Fifty Shades more colorful.
EXCERPT
“Speaking of our association, how long are we talking here?”
Tristan leans against the building, folds his arms casually, and props one jean-clad leg behind him. “You
anxious to get rid of me, Ms. Beale?” He deflects with questions better than anyone.
I fold my arms, not allowing him to stare me down. “I asked my question first.”
“If I were to answer based on past associations: a year. Two max.”
So, my shelf life was the equivalent of a fiscal year or two if I looked at it from a business perspective.
Could I even survive that long?
“And just how do your, er, associations usually end?”
“I or my submissive will allow it to come to a conclusion organically.”
“Meaning, you or she will indicate it’s not working and exercise your right to dump or be
dumped?”
“Yes, but it’s usually very amicable.”
Struggling to look impassive, I chew on by bottom lip despite myself. “You’d better be glad you didn’t
meet the twenty-one-year-old version of me.”
“Why is that?”
“That Keisha didn’t take forced endings too well. She was fond of super gluing sensitive body parts of ex-
boyfriends.” I have no idea why I admit this to him. I suppose it isn’t as much to let him know I’m
nobody’s fool but to get a rise out of him.
Tristan doesn’t react. We are both wearing dueling poker faces. “As I’ve said before, you’re not a
woman who should ever have to play host to the green-eyed monster. Never let anyone usurp your
confidence. Not even me.”
It doesn’t surprise me that Tristan is wholly self-contained and keeps his emotions close to the vest. If I
hang around him long enough, I could learn some things. “Thanks for the . . . advice.”
AUTHOR BIO
L. V. Lewis is a married, mother of four who lives and works in the Florida Panhandle. Early in her career
Lewis decided stories like Fifty Shades of Grey needed a little more diversity and comedy. She penned
Fifty Shades of Jungle Fever as a parodied response to those wildly popular books from a woman of
color. A voracious reader since kindergarten, Lewis loves nothing more than to curl up with a good book
and a glass of wine. Now that Lewis has young adults who think they don't need their parents anymore,
she has taken up the second career of writing. Her love for writing is only eclipsed by her love for her
family.
