This is the first installment in a six part serial. Although each can be read as a standalone, it is best to read them in order.
Clarissa is an acclaimed journalist and blogger who sets out to show the erotic side of prostitution by writing a blog article for her followers. She speaks to six women, in six different cities, asking them to tell her one of their hottest encounters with a client.
The first woman she interviews goes by the name of Vixen. After suffering tragedies no child should endure, she found a way to take back control of her life. She recites the hot and steamy scenes with her client, Brandon.

When I was a girl, if you would have asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I guarantee you "prostitute" wouldn't have been my response. But shit happens and we find ourselves doing whatever we need to survive. Make no mistake, I am a survivor. My parents died in a car accident when I was ten years old. Being the only child of only children meant I had a one-way ticket to the nearest foster home. I hated it. I missed my parents and wanted to go home. Since that would never happen, I raged at the world.
The couple they placed me with had three other children in their care — all older boys, the youngest being fifteen. The only upside, I had my own room — co-habitation was frowned upon.
"May I interrupt, Vixen?" Clarissa Cantrell, the journalist interviewing me, asks.
"Of course. You are paying me for this, after all. It's not like I'm missing out on any money from my other activities." I smirk.
Clarissa is doing a piece for her blog on prostitutes. Why? I have no idea. All I know is I’m getting paid top dollar for the next three hours of my time. I have no problem making twice what I would have made lying on my back by merely sitting down.
"Would you say your parents’ accident changed you? Made you jaded toward life and landed you in the position you now face?" Clarissa asks.
I consider her question for a moment. Was I jaded? In those beginning months, I was angry, sad, lonely, and suffered from a bit of denial, but jaded?
"I don't think I became jaded until a few years later, when I had to move to another foster home. The first one became a sanctuary in comparison," I reply.
"Why don't you tell me about it before we move on to the topic at hand?" Clarissa asks.
"All right. I may not even remember it all. I don't really like to dwell on it, but I'll do my best."
